Born in Belize. Raised in New York during the birth of hip hop. Shaped by every city he’s ever played. MKL is not a DJ who found music — he’s a DJ music found first.
Over three decades behind the decks and ten as a producer, MKL has played Body & Soul alongside Joe Claussell, Danny Krivit, and Francois K — the most revered names in New York dance music. His productions have landed on Sony, Wave Music, and Spiritual Life Music. His remix of John Legend’s “Green Light” gave it a dubstep makeover for its Sony/BMG release. His label Lion1music has released progressive music from artists across the globe.

Born and raised in New York, she relocated to Miami to sharpen her craft — graduating top of her DJ program class — and never looked back. What she brought with her was New York instinct. Lisie started on the Lower East Side on Saturday nights — hip hop, high style, and a residency that ran long enough to become a New York institution in its own right.

Rishi’s relationship with music started before the decks — tabla, drums, then a pair of turntables in high school that never got put down.
